We didn't get the villa on the beach that we paid for, but they did upgrade us to what was probably a more comfortable 2 BR, 2 bath small house.

We did not partake of breakfast at the location. We traveled to town. We also rented a boat to go snorkeling and that was fun. Sorry that the reef is dying but good time anyway. Really enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch.

To beat traffic, drive early or later in the evenings.
To beat traffic, drive early or later in the evenings. Holidays expect heavy traffic. We love Bud and Mary's Marina and always catch a lot of fish on the Miss Islamorada. Pack light clothing for Late Spring and Summer months, humidity is 100%. Lazy Days restaurant is very good.

Very nice place for kayaking and snorkeling.
Very nice place for kayaking and snorkeling. For sure you will see Robbie's that is the place to go to organize and do everything but be very much aware! We went there for dinner, feeding the tarpoons and to chill and as long as we brought money everything was fine. We were independently Kayaking close by and the owner of Robbie approached us in a rough, unfriendly way as soon as he realized we had private kayaks not from him.. We were having some floating issues and he was completely disrespectful also with risk for our safety...
Luckly the staff at Robbie's are amazing! While the owner can only see $$, $$ before humans

The Islander resort delivered a beautiful beach with great views. Our suite was very updated with design features. The bar service on the beach was wonderful. At night and early in the morning the private patio was a wonderful retreat. There were a lot of local restaurants to choose from, but the bar and restaurant on site were very good as well. We spent one day at Theatre of the Sea. The dolphin show and exhibits were very enjoyable. We will return.

If you don't have plans on the water, there is pretty much nothing to do. You need access to a boat and good weather to enjoy multiple days here. Everything we planned got cancelled because of the wind (snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing). We basically went to the diving museum, watched tv, and went out to eat. Definitely visit Lorelei's or the Morada Bay Cafe for awesome views. Midway cafe is the GOAT, order ahead for even faster service. Don't come here for the beaches, you'll be disappointed.
We had such a great stay at Fisher Inn - the room was big and bright, the aircon unit not too loud. Absolutely fab location at Islamorada - the view from the motel was amazing. The Inn offers bicycles and kayaks at no extra cost which we thought was a really nice extra touch. We really enjoyed our trip out onto the water! Staff were very friendly and had good tips for where to go for food (Lazy Days; Square Grouper. We also went to the Green Turtle).
Location is great, near resteraunts, Publix super store, theatre of the sea and Starbucks- all 5 mins from the hotel.
Nice little beach, free parking and two small pools.
Rooms are nice, clean and cosy and the double bed was cosy as well.
Good for a one night stay on a road trip.
Not cheap but cheaper than other options.
Overall met our needs with two small kids
Property was beautiful, private, and if you are looking for a resort that has a lot to offer this is the best I’ve stayed at in Islamorada. It comes with a heavy price and isn’t for anyone operating on a budget unless you are looking in the off-season sometime. If you have the $ to do it I it’s wonderful. Service was outstanding and friendly.
great location on the beach but construction noise and dust that we were not told about they moved our room but still in a noisy location not willing to move us to a better location gave us a few dollars of our bill but not the point disappointing but liked the hotel.
La Jolla is in an excellent location. Islamorada Brewery and Distillery, and a laundromat are directly across the street. Some great restaurants are within walking distance. My room was modern, clean, and quiet. Parking right outside my door.
everything was great. the view of the golf was amazing. 20 min by boat to Islamorada sand bar, 35 min to alligator reef, 45 min to mosquito bank. no shallow water near or in the dock. islamorada brewery is across the street
Nice room with kitchenette. Balcony only had partial view of the ocean, but it was still beautiful (and cheaper than those with full view). Small resort with nice pool, deck and private beach. Very quiet.
The location is amazing. I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat. You have the beach and a pool. The hotel sits among beautiful palm trees which makes a wonderful backdrop to the sunset.
Beautiful grounds and a great beach. We were in the unmodernised part of the hotel which was clean and comfortable.
The swimming pool area was good and the staff on poolside very attentive.
private beach
quite a big area
complementary kayaks, paddle boards
for sure there is a good view from ocean view rooms but i def wouldnt reccomend any other type of rooms in this hotel
Excellent breakfast, lots of things to do at resort. The rooms were all clean and fully equipped with tv’s, bathrooms had more than any hotel. Everyone was very pleasant to work with.
It is a cosy "boutique hotel" with very spacious rooms. Breakfast at the neighbours and a very nice restaurant called Lorelei with a beautifull sunset nearby.
