The best location, very close to the train station, the bus stop/station and the ferry to the Amalfi Coast. The room is new and very clean and comfortable. There is a great place for pizza across the small square located in front of the entrance to the building. There is also a very good restaurant, Calamare, which is close. Although the address of the building is that of a major street, the number 33 is a bit hard to find. Although they sent directions, we had no internet on the train so did not receive them. We had to call their contact number and Stephanie came to meet us.

Stefania was a great host, met us very late at night, like 12:30am, kept in touch with What's App and she was there in the mornings cleaning so we could chat with her if needed. Very clean room, bigger than most, cute/tiny kitchen area, wonderful big bathroom and rain shower, extra little couch so we could put our suitcases and stuff on that, little balcony off kitchen area, quiet at night and beds comfy, excellent location right in the Centro Storico/Old Town area and short walk to Salerno Centrale train station and short walk to waterfront to catch ferries to Amalfi Coast towns and Capri. Plus close to pedestrian shopping street with lots of stores. Salerno was great, felt safe, easy to walk everywhere and old town was SUPER cool and quaint with TONS of restaurants and shops. Everything open late, had great pizza at 1am on our first late arrival. Edahouse has a lot of stairs but there is a VERY small and slow elevator/lift, barely fit our small luggage but it worked but you catch it on the 2nd floor so you will have to do some stairs, we always did just the stairs and didn't mind but it was up on the 4th floor. Good A/C...Very clean but in that climate there are cockroaches and we found when you turned off A/C when you leave for the day they tend to come out, with A/C on we didn't see them. Only two rooms at Edahouse so a very small place but right in the action once you step outside. Choice of two little cafes for breakfast, you'll get a coupon and can get coffee or tea and a pastry. We went to each place and they were both good and very close to Edahouse. I would stay again easily. So many B&B's to choose from there but this was clean, great location and shower and bed plus wonderful host too!

The place was spotless clean. Very comfortable and spacious. The owners Giovanni and Cristina are very warm, welcoming and helpful in so many ways. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Amalfi coast.

Much better then I had expected! I loved everything: the cleanliness, the bed, the design but the best was: the breakfast! There were basically everything you wanted to eat: bread, croissants, butter, cheese, yogurt, juices and so on. The location was absolutely okay, you could comfortably reach the port, the railway station, and the most visited places and restaurant by foot. Highly recommended for everyone!

Great restaurants are right around the corner. The place itself was comfortable and quiet. We loved the rooftop terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A treat was the fact that there is an elevator so you don’t have to carry your luggage to the third floor. The public beaches in the city itself are not great but ok, and very nice ones can be reached by short bus rides. Or you go to one of the paid beaches in the city, they are great too.biancaFamily with young children

Domenico was a great host, with recommendations & storing luggage after check out. would recommend as a great base for touring Salerno & Amalfi coast
