The location of the hotel was easy to find and the beds were very comfortable. It felt as clean as it could for an older motel and the 10% off breakfast at the restaraunt was nice.

The staff was excellent. They upgraded our room without charging us. They heated our leftover dinner. They provided me with a map and advised me how to bypass Calgary on our drive to Banff.

Breakfast was very good though more Continental than English / Irish .
Hosts were very knowledgable of the area and s joy to chat to .
Drumheller, was a stop along the way. Checked out Royal Tyrrell Museum, which was much more expansive than anticipated. Wonderful experience and worth the admission. Didn't see much of the town other than passing through, however there appeared to be interesting things to see and do. When in the area I will most likely check out in greater depth.

The geography of this place is incredible!
The geography of this place is incredible! The fossil history was rich and beautiful. The hoodoos were very interesting and my boys loved exploring around that area. We were passing through so only had one day and I wish we’d had time for a couple of more.

There is no place on earth like Drumheller.
There is no place on earth like Drumheller. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but the history in this community is incredible. And, of course, let's not forget the real draw to Drum - the dinosaurs!!! I've been visiting Drumheller since I was a child, and still love every minute of every visit, it never gets old. Be sure to check out the Ghost Walk!

Drumheller boasts the best museum for dinosaur lovers.
Drumheller boasts the best museum for dinosaur lovers. The badlands are a sight to behold and the quaint city with kitschy dinosaur vibes is lot of fun. Yavis is a landmark worth visit for lunch or dinner (or late night karaoke!). The Royal Tyrrell Museum has become my annual excursion.

Generally great overall.
Generally great overall. Way too busy though which isn’t the resort’s fault. Couldn’t get in to the museum, crawling with people. Suspension bridge shut down-only found out when drove out to actual site.

Have stayed in Drumheller for the Badlands Fondo 3 years in...
Have stayed in Drumheller for the Badlands Fondo 3 years in a row - just 2 nights each time, but there there's a lot more to do and explore in the area so 3 or 4 nights would be better. Great roads for biking on, and awesome saloon in Wayne 16k out of town. It's easy to miss a lot of the town of Drumheller when you stick to the main road, as it is spread out along the river, but after biking around the residential streets it appears to be a great little place to live. Canoeing and boating, fishing and has a great recreation centre and splash park/toddlers' pool.
Easy check-in; lift to upper floors. Our room was at the end of a long corridor but was comfortable and suited our needs. It overlooked the highway and the town of Drumheller. I really like that they give you a little cloth to wipe up spills in your room (while coffee-making etc) but please don't use a ziplock bag to wrap it in! Another piece of plastic to pollute our world for yonks! Fridge in room was quiet and kept frozen things frozen and cold things cold! Water pressure great.
Above expectations. This is not a hotel, but if you considering booking it you know it already, so don't expect a hotel, but as a motel - it's the best!
Large room, very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff + they have their own restaurant where guests get a discount.
Will totaly recommend for people who want to stay in drumheller for a reasonable price and dont need fancy hotels
The place is amazing. The house has it's character and the owners do take exceptional care to make sure you enjoy your stay.
Also really close to most of the tourist places (although tbh everything is close in Drumheller), with direct access to the road that leads to the Royal Tyrell Museum, Horse Thief Canyon and a very nice Little Church.
Close to everything in Drumheller, and probably the cheapest room rates in Drumheller. Mind you, you pay for what you get. So, if you just want a place to shower and sleep, and you are not picky, then fine, this could be the place for you. But if you want the chain hotels service/accommodation, then this isn't the hotel for you.
There was no breakfast, but there were restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The room was retro but very clean and quite comfortable. There were shops close by so if you wanted to get some fresh air walking was great. We saw the fireworks from the hotel room which was beautiful on Canada day.
Breakfast had so many options and was delicious. Kids loved the pool and the slide! It was convenient that the room had 2 doors - an entrance into the hotel as well as one directly outside to our vehicle.
Staff was so friendly and caring.
This is a comfortable, kid-friendly hotel well located for a visit to the excellent Tyrell Dinosaur museum. A substantial breakfast is provided and there are several nearby choices for evening meals (not gourmet dining but appealing to kids)
At the quiet end of Drumheller but only a couple of mins drive into town. Our host was most hospitable , nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were first class. Would definitely stay here again.
There was an unusual charge on the room called a VAT which is an european term for Value added tax. I know that Alberta does not have that although they do have a hotel tax so very confusing on how the hotel was doing this.
The locks on the doors are very secure, and the building has a classic feel. The view from the hotel was wonderful, and the location is easy to find. Within 10 minutes of tourist attractions and plenty of nearby amenities.
My kid loved this hotel; the little dinosaur touches, the pool, the arcade table and a lovely full breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and there was a lovely ice cream stand across the street.
It was clean. The staff were friendly. It was very comfortable. Its location was very close to where we wanted to be. I was surprised that a motel with all these amenities was so cheap.
Brenda was a wonderful host. It was convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit, and was much better than staying in a hotel. We enjoyed use of the bbq.
The location was in the center of Drumheller so easy to get everywhere. Restaurants within walking distance. Motel was clean and smelled nice upon arrival.
