We spent our wedding night here and were quite happy with our harbour view room. The hotel was very thoughtful and left a card and some chocolate covered strawberries to congratulate us. We noticed there was also a store downstairs in the lobby which was open even when we checked in after midnight. Although we couldn't order room service for a bottle of champagne we were able to purchase one in the lobby so that was convenient.

I drove up from Olympia Washington for a sola spa-liday. I arrived on Sunday and left on Tuesday.
I self parked and could not even imagine dealing with that on a Friday, Saturday, during the summer, or with any events going on at the Shipyards. Being that I came on a Sunday I was able to find parking quickly right by the entrance to the elevators right below the hotel. This is akin to a mall parking lot; everybody parks down here to do different things in this area, so imagine having to deal with parking to get your hotel and everybody else parking to enjoy festivities and events that take place down here. Read the amenities portion on their website thoroughly, as it will let you know that you will have to find parking down there, then, essentially park illegally because you have to go upstairs immediately and let them know so they can enter your vehicle license plate number into their system, do not pay at the kiosk in the garage!!! Self-pay was $32 dollars, valet was almost $50…this is per night!!! Again, I was by myself, doing my own thing on my own schedule so my car never left its parking spot. Also, the kiosk only accepts credit cards; if one wants to pay online, one must download the app and there is virtually zero signal in the garage. I watched many people frustrated and irritated with trying to get a signal so they can download this app to pay for their parking. NOTE: Wi-fi connections were spotty & slow throughout the entire Shipyards.
As soon as you get into the room, I would suggest checking the thermostat and making sure that the wardrobe door is open to expose the refrigerator. My refrigerator was not even remotely cold for the first 24 hours of my stay;having the door closed prevents air from flowing, which doesn’t help the refrigerator cool. Also, I did pull the fridge from the little cubby it was in and the back of it was in dire need of vacuuming; lots of dust caked on there…which doesn’t help cool refrigerator either.
Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere only 10 minutes from the attractions of Vancouver city center at this modern hotel, which is located at the base of the grand North Shore Mountains. Free Wi-Fi is provided....

Love North Vancouver and the proximity to the mountains, North Vancouver areas and the beautiful views.
There are many places that could be visited, but I prefer to go further North or East, if not downtown Vancouver.
The traffic over Lions Gate bridge at Rush Hour is terrible, and recommend travelling in a different time if possible.

For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island as well as the valley and decided North Van would be a good middle distance. We had few expectations and assumed we would be shopping and sipping drinks with good friends. It turned out that it was very easy to get around between sea bus to down town and bussing up to the parks. The shipyards area and lower lonsdale is rich with great little stores and non-chain restaurants which was such a treat.

I've stayed here numerous times before and was surprised to be booked in a very small basement bedroom . There was no air conditioning in the room but only an open basement window. Not impressed considering the number of previous bookings. Otherwise the facilities met with our previous expectations. lovely view and great kitchen facilities with several breakfast options.

North Vancouver is a lovely area just across the bay from Downtown Vancouver. Easy access across the bay via the regular ferry gives you the best of everything. North Vancouver seems a nice safe neighbourhood with a nice choice of bars and restaurants. You also have easy access to the hills and mountains where there are some great walks and stunning scenery.

We absolutely enjoyed the stay in this hidden gem with a beautiful garden and a nice view, Tucked away in a quaint residential area of North Vancouver you feel like a local. The apartment has everything you need. It’s very clean and nicely arranged with a personal touch and attention to detailed - even umbrellas which ended up needing :-)
The location is great to visit the sights in North Vancouver and also reasonably convenient to get to downtown (consider using the seabus).
This was a very easy location for driving all over North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Downtown. We enjoyed the apartment at the end of the day although the kitchen was so tiny but had everything you need. The balcony was also a plus and the view of downtown at night was a bonus. I stayed here with my son as I thought it had a sofa bed in the living room but it turned out to be just a sofa. It was more comfortable than the bed in the end.
The room provided what I required, which was to have a kitchen. The room and kitchen were very clean. The kitchen, although small, had the all of the basic necessities required. I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. My room door wasn't locking and they promptly took care of this. I love the location on Capiliano Rd as well. Easy access to downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver.
We got the breakfast tower, it was a lot of food for two people. They went out of their way to make sure there was no fish and nothing touching it as I am allergic. The front desk people was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. Housekeeping even organized the bathroom counter for us. We couldn't ask for better hotel. This will be my new go to place when I travel to Vancouver.
I'd booked this hotel on spec as an overnight before flying home from YVR, with no expectations. Turned out the hotel was excellent, and brilliantly located overlooking the North Vancouver harbour regeneration on to the skyline of Vancouver across the bay. The room was very comfortable, the restaurant was fabulous, and the service was superb. This is a very nice hotel.
The location was perfect for our needs, which included visiting friends in North Vancouver. The room was spacious and well appointed, and had a wonderful and secluded view of the Seymore RIver. The hosts were welcoming; the breakfast was hearty and delicious; and the price was extremely reasonable for Vancouver and the amenities provided.
Crystal was a wonderful host - she went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the patio was gorgeous. The 2 breakfasts we had were excellent. Crystal brought coffee to our room in the morning - much appreciated. We loved North Vancouver - great location.
Check-in was easy and safe. The room was cozy, too, and the shower and toiletries were pleasant. I very much like how close the hotel was to the main drive yet still quiet. It's also quite close the Trans-Canada Highway 1, which is great if you're driving either into North Vancouver or out east.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Just a few steps from the Seabus terminal and the Lonsdale Quay mall and markets. The hotel itself was quiet…that may have been partly because there didn’t seem to be many guests staying there. The rooms were clean.
The location was perfect for us visiting family in North Vancouver. The little town of Edgemont is great for unique gift shopping as well as groceries. The suite was clean, quiet and comfortable. The price is reasonable too.
We’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times since it is 2 blocks away from my son’s apartment and convenient to shopping, Lionsgate Bridge, restaurants, etc. It’s nice to have de Dutch downstairs as a breakfast option.
The location of the apartment is close to all the outdoor activities in North Vancouver and a short driving distance. to beautiful
Sea to sky highway to Whistler , Squamish and Garibaldi provincial Park
It's a hostel run in private house in North Vancouver,. It has 8 rooms with 2 shared showers and 2 washrooms which was ok when only 4 rooms were occupied. Kitchen is big and has all needed.
The location is exceptional. The property is like a lovely park, trees a small waterfall and lots of grassed areas.
The hotel is lovely, quiet and has all the amenities.
This hotel is in a fabulous location just steps from the Lonsdale Quay. It was comfortable and clean and the pool was huge. Comfy beds, modern style and nice views
Great location and a very modern design hotel. The location is also great. You can avoid the crazy traffic in downtown Vancouver if you stay in this hotel.
