Booking.com cancelled our original booking 48 hours before we arrived in New York. I frantically looked for a hotel within our budget that was clean and in a safe neighbourhood and four the Hotel Belle Claire. The staff were amazingly friendly. The room was spotless and the safe snd across the road from the subway.

This hotel, located in the center of Manhattan's Upper West Side, is 1 block from Central Park. It offers a continental breakfast and free in-room Wi-Fi. Perfect location, couple of steps from Central Park and the subway station, the neighborhood is beautiful, classical New York homes around it, the hotel personal is very kind and helpful, the room although small had everything you need to have a good rest, comfortable bed and hot water. The breakfast was very good and complete, fresh vegetables, fruits, waffles, egg and meet, there were always coffee, water and tea. I definitely recommend this hotel.
