Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. Amazing breakfast (best scones I've ever had) and John and Ilzebet were the perfect hosts. They couldn't do enough for you. I had a very charming room with a terrace and the location was perfect, nice and quiet but an easy walk into town. I would highly recommend!

We stopped by for two nights during our honeymoon. Leonhard gave us amazing recommendations for wineries and restaurants in the area. We felt very welcome. In the evening there was a little treat on our pillow, which gave that extra touch of care.

The reception is very nice and kind, the room is clean and beautiful. Very helpful staff, especially Hamid. He was always available. Perfect location. Also fantastic price.

We just needed a place for the night, and this was perfect which is very close to the Tygerberg mall. Very clean and instructions for our late night arrival was great. I highly recommend this place.

Perfectly located in a charming town with a breathtaking backdrop, this Airbnb is a true gem. We arrived around 18:30 checked in and headed up the road for dinner, just 50m away with a choice of the Restaurants on the strip. The rooms exuded beauty, and the bed and bedding was out of this world, offering a luxurious sleep experience. The breakfast surpassed all expectations; Antonio, the host, prepared a three-course homemade feast. From freshly baked croissants with homemade preserves to a delightful cheese board, homemade yogurt with muesli and fresh fruit, and a finishing touch of a banana pancake with natural honey and lemon juice—all enjoyed in an artistic, quaint, and homely living and dining area. I'll certainly return!
