El poble de Sabugueiro està ben situat per fer excursions per la Serra da Estrela, y l'apartament está al centre del poble , te aire condicionat i el necessari per si vols cuinar, restaurants,botigues i bars al costat i a 5' a peu de la platja fluvial.

My wife had a medical emergency on our way to the Luna and had to spend the night in the local hospital. She was not released until after 3pm, the staff not only allowed us a very late check out, but was in constant contact with the hospital for me as I know zero Portuguese. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that we are hoping to come back for some cycling training.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this hotel and we were extremely satisfied! The hotel is situated on a mountainside, offering breathtaking views of the valley. There is a large beautiful pool in the courtyard. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with views of the mountains and the city below. They provide everything you need, including storage cabinets, a comfortable king-sized bed, a refrigerator, a television, a safe, a hairdryer, a makeup mirror, and plenty of outlets to charge all your gadgets. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh fruits and local cheeses. For dinner, we were offered traditional Portuguese dishes and wonderful desserts. We were also very pleased with the hotel staff - they were extremely helpful and pleasant. We will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Lovely hotel, loved the decor. Helpful, friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good spread, with a good coffee choice. From the room I could see the Serra de Estrela. The hotel is right in center of the town, easy to walk to shops, bars etc.

Exceptional breakfast and dinner, amazing time at the pool and sauna and an awesome relaxing massage.

Everything lived up to expectations plus a spa massage at a reasonable price was very welcome after a long day's driving.

The grounds of the hotel were nice and the village, although remote was beautiful and quaint. The room had direct access to the garden and was spotless.

Pequeno-almoço de reis, servido pela Amelia (proprietária), uma pessoa muito bonita, que o recebe e lhe conta todos os pormenores desta casa histórica. Adorámos, estava tudo muito limpo. Um lugar ideal para relaxar, partilhar com a sua família ou casal. Repleto de arte e história, com espaços de sonho para ler um bom livro, beber um bom copo de vinho e partilhar.

Very very very friendly staff, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, and the kids lived the game room with snooker and table soccer. Great to roam around the farm, lake and see the animals

Very beautiful and well maintained property, with a rural atmosphere, close to a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The landscape is wonderful. We were lucky that we had an excellent homemade dinner at the inn!

Spectacular grounds, very peaceful environment. It felt like a sanctuary. The couple that owned it(and their dogs) were warm and welcoming.

Beautifully restored house in mountain setting. Helpful hosts provide links to local sites of interest. Fresh bread and meat/cheese provided for continental breakfast. Well-equipped kitchen. Lots of space for larger families, and pets welcome.

Absolutely perfect quite mountain retreat with amazing breakfast, incredible views, awesome hiking trails, and very friendly staff. I could easily spend a month here in the summer time. The warm bread in the morning was fantastic. Sitting around the fireplace at night listening to Christmas music will be remembered

Pretty much everything, such a cosy, beautiful place to hang out and enjoy the silence! We got free jams, bread, pasta etc. everything was there in the house! Amazing sunset views and such a nice host Rosa even though we didn’t speak Portuguese. Quite a beautiful but steep and narrow route to get to the house. 10/10, really recommend going if you plan on visiting the National park near by. It’s truly an adventure to get there and is a contrast to the city life.

Loved the place! The staff was super kind and caring, the room had an absolutely amazing view and everything was furnished in style. The bathroom was super spacious and loved the fragrance of the shower gel/shampoo - very special.
