The dinner was probably the best dining experience I have had in Japan so far, especially the sashimi; everything was perfectly seasoned. I would recommend everyone to reserve (in advance) their dinner at least once to know how good their food is. Everyone always address my needs as far as they can provide, and always with a warm smile on their face. This is the absolute Japanese hospitality experience bar none. The owner (and almost every staff there) can speak perfect english so you will never have any problem with the language barrier. Love the private onsen. I take baths every day, sometimes twice a day. The cold winter helps.

The air-conditioned rooms have tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and very service-minded. I lost my ring in the onsen and the next morning, when asked about it, they are able to return it to me.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. It offers free Wi-Fi at the lobby and a free station transfer. It was a stunningly romantic ryokan, the room was spacious and beautiful, and the meals were exquisite. They accommodated my coeliac partner really well and communicated clearly what she could eat. They even made adjustments and alternatives for her, she was thrilled. The Onsen itself is lovely and the outdoor Onsen has beautiful views. We will definitely be coming back :) thank you for everything!
